Griffin Moulds was established in 1996 by Stewart Griffin to supply contract moulds to the centrifugal casting trade. With over 13 years of mould making experience and 6 years as a Production Manager in the giftware industry, Stewart became aware of the potential need for his skills in the market place. Initially he worked from home with the aid of a vulcaniser and casting machine, purely mould making and only using the casting machine as a means to test his moulds but this proved to be very beneficial. As Stewart’s reputation grew so did the requests for his casting technique.

Three years later the volume of business forced Griffin Moulds to find larger business premises and recruit another specialist mould maker and caster. Griffin has always held the belief that it is imperative to select highly skilled people from the industry to ensure the healthy progress of the company. Now eight years down the line the company employs four casters and two moulds makers. Griffin has now taken this a stage further and has recently recruited the fine sculpture and modeller Carl Reid to its portfolio of skills and can now offer the specialist services of design and modelling to its customer.
